Well, today we’re leaving for my sister’s wedding in York. I guess that means I won’t be updating… my blog… frequently…. hehe. Last entry: August 11. If I manage to get just one “I’m here in England, whee” post online in the next week I will be doing better than I am while at home.
Chrissy: Yes, it is a Boeing 777.
As with any trip, even ones to like, the other side of my own state, I am wondering what I have forgotten to pack. Arguably, it’s more important to wonder what I might have forgotten not to pack that might be considered questionable, but I think I’m okay there.
I’m trying not to worry about things too much-although in an absolutely hilarious story that I won’t bore you with, I nearly forgot that I was missing a PIN for my credit card and would not have had, well, cash. However I feel that I have been worrying about this trip less than I would have a few years ago. John has felt inspired to remind me in the last day or two that I am not traveling to a third-world country where no one speaks English and no one has the internetbut a few years ago, he would have been saying that for easily three weeks. So really, I’m a lot better. :)

Wow, to be singled out by name. I’m honored (or should I say honoured?). Although Mike claims Air France uses Airbus because they are a French company and doesn’t have any Boeing aircraft. I sense this shall remain a point of Geek contention…well, be sure to check the barf bag or the what-to-do-if-we-have-an-emergency-not-that-we-will-so-just-put-that-thought-right-out-of-your-head information card so we can resolve this matter of earth-shattering importance once and for all.
Oh, and have a good trip! Congratulations to your sister and Phillip!
