I am SO with you! I am 37 weeks with my 2nd child and have been so frustrated by my PANTS! I know the under-belly styles are supposed to be more stylish – and that’s pretty much all you can find these days – but I hate them. Give me the big ‘ole belly panel any day. I have one pair of decent jeans, thanks to my sister who somehow found this pair. Of course, it’s too hot for jeans now, so I’m back to hiking up my jeans. I found 2 skirts that I’ve been wearing to death. Although I’ve never been a huge skirt wearer, they are more comfy than extra bulges of cloth in my crotch when the pants fall down.

I’ve had to get into maternity pants already, which kind of annoyed me. Right now they’re pretty loose, and I’m rolling the full panel ones down. I see what you’re saying, though. I’m hiding the pregnancy from my students, but spending half my time hauling up my pants in front of them has been interesting. Of course, I’m way heavier than you, so maybe they’ll stay up for me better later on, when I have more belly to support them. I already have a big belly to start with, so it’ll be like I’m carrying twins or something. I sympathize. The lack of nice maternity clothes sucks. At least they’ve gotten rid of most of the nautical-themed outfits that you used to see everywhere.
