I’ve been kind of remiss lately.
Cory started talking a few weeks ago, that is, using a few words in context on his own. Reading Mercedes Lackey novels aloud is at least a couple of years off. (Although he would if he could, for the annoyance value.)
To my great surprise, on our way to the living room after Cory’s last nap today, he said “hi.” I always say “hi” to him when he wakes up, and today he gave it half a minute and then said “hi” back. Really nailed it, too.
